The Gem of the Valley Art Association started up again.
Congratulations Dolly!
We were a very small group last week. Susan has a landscape in progress that will be photographed at a later date.
The issues with animals are very similar to figure drawing. We notice opposition between the large structures of the body- head, ribcage. hindquarters.
and within a structure like the head, we're keeping things parallel. Dolly did a good job making an imaginary time that connects the eyes and keeping it parallel with the top of the head, top of the ears, nose and mouth.
ANd Joyce has a fabulous start on this Lab puppy.
