It's Fall and the weather is getting chillier. Rita has us by the fire at Ellen's. ( no kidding- she got the reference photo from Architectural Digest coverage of Ellen De Generis' house).
And Amalia's Bear grew a coat rich brown hair.
Seriously, there is some great work going on.
Here is Cathy Baca re-interpretation of the photo of the sunflowers. It's as different as Laura's and Joyce's.
just beautiful... and what is so appealing to me is the violet balancing the yellows of the sunlight.
And Laura did the Cabernet grapes. Really powerful blues.
Joyce started on a new still life of one of her plants in a gorgeous green pot.
This seems to happen to me every week but the one that I left off this week was Joyce's completed sunflowers. Next week.
And it was so great to have Jan back after traveling the world. She had some amazing stories about Croatia. I'm so impressed and grateful to work with such an accomplished and urbane group of women.
Finally another ethereal landscape from Rita.
