We had a really small turnout today. Something about the rain maybe. Apologies to Cathy about the closed gate.
Here's Laura who adventured outside. To me there's nothing like painting green mountains on a cloudy day. the violet in her foreground is underpainting. Laura almost always does a painting in the middle values then comes back the next time to push the darks and lights.
Jan hasn't finshed her aloe painting but I really like the pot and completely believe that the aloe - good drawing skills in making the plants twist around like that.
